As we close out a landmark year at Dreamland, I’m reflecting on the role leadership donors like you have played in shaping our impact.
Because of your support, we awarded 75 full scholarships to young performers, expanded free sensory-friendly cinema, welcomed 85,000 visitors through our doors, and sent 17 students to the Junior Theater Festival in Atlanta—with registration fees fully covered by Dreamland. Our programming has grown in scope, quality, and inclusivity—and that’s only possible because of the investment you’ve made in our mission.
As we look toward 2026, we’re facing a stark reality:
- Earned revenue covers only 50% of our annual operating budget
- Grant funding is down 70% from the previous year
- We are working to close a $300,000 gap to sustain year-round operations
Dreamland remains open seven days a week—even in the off-season—serving as Nantucket’s cultural hub, creative stage, and community gathering place. But we simply cannot do this without continued philanthropic leadership from our donors.
