Thank you to everyone who joined us at The Sconset Casino on Friday, July 17th for DreamBIG 2026. It was an extraordinary, unforgettable night of glamour, laughter, and high-stakes energy – all in support of Nantucket Dreamland’s year-round arts, educational, and cultural programming.
The evening opened with lively play at the casino tables, setting a spirited, competitive tone for the night ahead. We then paused for award presentations, honoring two remarkable community leaders: Libby Tracey, recipient of our Fred Rogers Good Neighbor Award, and Jackie Moss, our DreamBIG Honoree. The evening continued with a beautifully curated dinner prepared by Chef Patrick Ridge and his team at Island Kitchen.
Generosity was the theme of the night, from spirited bidding at our silent auction to the electric energy of the live auction, as supporters rose repeatedly to champion our mission.
The stage brought moments we won’t soon forget. Merrick Brannigan offered a deeply moving special appearance, speaking candidly about the impact Dreamland has had on his journey as a young artist, before performing his original song, “Sweet July.” Closing out the evening, the Loston Harris Trio took the stage, mesmerizing the room with timeless jazz standards and capping off a truly magical night.
Every dollar raised through DreamBIG directly fuels Dreamland’s ability to serve as Nantucket’s year-round community gathering place – sustaining our film screenings, live performances, youth theater programs, and accessible local events. To our benefactors, sponsors, board members, volunteers, and every guest who took a seat at the table: thank you for making this night possible.
