The Dreamland’s mission is to enrich the cultural and intellectual life of Nantucket by providing year-round films, educational programs, and a venue for activities that engage Nantucket in the evolving world of digital entertainment and education in one of America’s oldest theaters.
As such, we are dedicated to providing the island of Nantucket with a range of programmatic experiences that center on the visual and performing arts. These programs include collaborations with other organizations and individuals throughout the community, in addition to Dreamland original programs and events.

Give Back Movie Night
Nonprofit to Nonprofit Give bACK Night: The Dreamland understands the value of community support for Nantucket’s many nonprofit organizations. As such, we continue our off-season program which runs monthly, October-May, to help other nonprofits raise funds and awareness.
How it Works:
Once a month a single screening of a feature film will be designated as that month’s Give bACK (excluding June – Aug).
The featured non-profit will be invited to have a table with promotional materials in the lobby prior to their Give bACK screening. The Nantucket Dreamland Foundation will work hand in hand with the featured non-profit to ensure that their Give bACK is as successful as possible.
$1.50 of every ticket sold to the designated screening will be donated from the Nantucket Dreamland Foundation to the featured non-profit.
How to Apply:
Send an email to Megan McNeely Browers with the following information:
- Non-Profit Name
- Contact Name, Email & Phone
- Copy of IRS document confirming organizations 501(c)3 status
