Five O’Clock Shadow returns to the Dreamland main stage for a special night of electric a cappella. Join us for one of two seatings (or both!) as the band performs cuts from their latest original album Time, as well as their signature offering of inventive and inspired arrangements of well-known hits. A new documentary film, Nantucket’s Historic Coloured Cemetery: Stories Told By Nantucketers, is set to illuminate the lives of Civil War veterans, fugitives, abolitionists, and whaling captains interred in one of the island’s most significant burial grounds. Produced by Nantucket historians Frances Karttunen and Barbara Ann White, the film seeks to share these stories with the wider public.

Nantucket native and nationally touring comic Brian Glowacki will be back at The Dreamland for a hilarious set Saturday, August 2nd. Fresh off a couple of years touring and performing at some of the best comedy clubs and venues around the country, this is a night of laughs you won’t want to miss.

Nationally recognized comedian, commentator, producer, and activist Jimmy Tingle’s new documentary, “Jimmy Tingle: The ‘Radical’ Middle—Why Would a Comedian Run for Office?” is coming to The Dreamland followed by a seriously funny talkback with Tingle.

The performance will feature a curated selection of music from early 20th-century Britain, alongside works by Mahler, Shostakovich, Berlioz, and others, creating a narrative that reflects the deep scars and enduring hope of a world reshaped by conflict. This special evening has been designed exclusively by the Rossini Club for our second staged collaboration with the Nantucket Dreamland.
