The Nantucket Dreamland Foundation relies on your continued support to be a cultural anchor to the Nantucket community. Its active presence helps to revitalize business in the historic downtown district.

There are several charitable giving opportunities for individuals, organizations and corporations to help us meet our mission. Support the Nantucket Dreamland Foundation. When the Dreamland Foundation opens its doors in June 2012 it will be a cultural anchor to the Nantucket community and its active presence will help revitalize business in the historic downtown district. There are several charitable giving opportunities for individuals, organizations and corporations to help us meet our mission.

The Nantucket Dreamland Foundation welcomes gifts of cash or securities, and donors making leadership gifts to the Capital Campaign may do so in the form of a pledge. Checks should be made payable to the Nantucket Dreamland Foundation and mailed to our address, PO Box 989, Nantucket, MA 02554. For gifts of stocks or bonds, please email Melissa Murphy, melissa@nantucketdreamland.org, or call our office at 508.332.4822 for instructions.

A gift in honor of a loved one is a wonderful way to pay tribute to their memory, while supporting the efforts of the Nantucket Dreamland Foundation.

Many companies will match or multiply their employees donations a non-profit of their choice. Some will also extend the match to gifts of employee’s spouses and of retirees. Please contact your company’s matching gift program when making the decision to donate to the Nantucket Dreamland Foundation.

Additionally, The Dreamland Foundation would be honored to be a part of your family’s legacy through our planned giving program. When writing or changing your will, please consider the Nantucket Dreamland Foundation. For more information on bequests or charitable gift annuity donations, please contact Melissa Murphy, melissa@nantucketdreamland.org, in the development office.

Capital Campaign

Help the Dreamland Foundation complete our historic capital campaign; all tax-deductible capital campaign contributions will go towards funding the design, permitting, and construction of our state of the art, LEED certified center for the arts on Nantucket.  The work of the Nantucket Dreamland Foundation – rebuilding and operating the beloved Dreamland Theater – will enrich the lives of all residents (seasonal and year-round) and guests of Nantucket in countless ways for generations to come.   We hope you will join us!

We thank our all who have joined our effort and we invite you to become a part of a project that will become one of the Island’s iconic destinations. Naming opportunities still exist for major gifts, as well as through our seat naming opportunities, the Take Your Seat campaign in the Main Theater and our Director’s Chair campaign in the Studio Theater.  Please contact the development office for more information regarding these special opportunities.

Annual Fund

Your tax-deductible contributions made to our annual funds support the Dreamland’s non-profit mission to enrich the cultural life on Nantucket by providing year-round films, educational programs, and community collaborations.

Program Support

Our cultural programming in film, performance and education all happen because of the generous support of program underwriters. Please contact us to discuss new programs, ways to enrich our current programming, or any other programming opportunities with the Dreamland; contact Donald Dallaire, Director of Programming, or donald@nantucketdreamland.org.

Children’s Program Endowment

The Weezie Foundation has generously donated $25,000 matched by another $25,000 from Lucile & Bill Hays to begin our Dreamland Children’s Program Endowment. This program support will help as we share the arts with our children through creating, reading and performing together.
